I know most people my age dislike the mall, but as a plus size girl they seem extra pointless.
I walked the mall this afternoon, and remembered that there is only one plus sized store outside the big department stores. There are twenty four clothing stores outside the anchor stores and only one of them caters to plus sized women. Really?
I usually end up hitting up Lane Bryant, Barnes and Noble, and leave. I just think it would be cool if some of the other stores had a plus section. Just a thought.
I know what you mean. I don't even try to shop for clothes in the mall. I only go for Bath & Body Works (my own personal heaven), Claires (I love accessories and sales), and Barnes and Noble.
ReplyDeleteThat really sucks, Ellen. If it makes you feel any better, I'm not plus sized and I still can't wear 90% of what's sold in most stores. Forever 21, Hollister, A&F, American Eagle, and most other "trendy" stores just do not fit me properly because *shocker!* I have HIPS and THIGHS. I thought women were supposed to have those things, but apparently not. That being said, I don't know if we have one around here, but have you ever been to Torrid?
